In the summer, the village draws many mountain bikers and hikers keen to explore the huge diversity of alpine plants and animals in the surrounding area, including ibexes and bearded vultures.

Over 300 km of hiking paths await summer visitors, the most popular of which are the the Blumenweg Oberseite, the Water Adventure Path and the Innerstes Defereggental.
